heyyy ♡ its been a while since my first vlog !
This is an old vlog from SJTU Minhang.
I am currently doing another language semester at SJTU in Xuhui
and I am looking forward to share it with you guysss!

are you living in a dorm? i am planning to go there this september and apparently they don't provide housing option for language students... Any recommendations?

@@Rwiepie in xuhui the dorm is called Taoliyuan and in Minhang it is called Nanyang Beiyuan. But i think the xuhui one is only accessible for exchange students :/

@@maythu4206 I used Ziroom, but there are not a lot of options. (you can also try smart shanghai) you can try to contact the agents through the websites, because they often offer more options :)

if you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay for the dorm room in xuhui?

heyyy 🫶there are different kind of rooms. In xuhui there are mostly double bed room and a few single ones. The prices are between 8k to 12k yuan per semester (without semester holidays)

Hello! love your vlogs! I was wondering if you are staying at the Xuhui Campus for this semester? If so by any chance you can do a room tour? I am also headed to SJTU this September but I cant seem to find anyone posting about the Xuhui's dorm! TYSM in advance :D

Heyyy I sadly don't have a room tour of the xuhui campus dorm. Taoliyuan is normally just a simply room with wood furniture, they have single bed rooms and double bedrooms, but the single bed rooms are gone very fast. ps. They also have new apartments where you have 3 rooms (double bedrooms), kitchen and a community space. But I am not sure who they offer it to

Is all the chinese langauge courses all in the xihui campus?

no sadly not. last semester my language course was in Minhang, which is further away from the center. But I think they are moving most of the courses to Xuhui again.
