Just a thought...I know you plan to be elsewhere for Christmas this year, but regarding ice buckets...We bought a silver plated ice bucket years ago, and this year I'm using it as a base for a tabletop Xmas tree. It looks spectacular. Fancy schmancy, (a.k.a. Pretty Princess!!!) 😍

My ferns are planted outside and they survive the winter as perennials, i am on the Canadian atlantic coast, so as cold as Toronto. Don't know if there are different varieties of ferns... But, Brooke, perhaps u could just stick them in the ground and see if they come back in the spring. I just got some new perennials and even though it is getting colder i am planting them this week since nothing is freezing overnite, yet. At most the temperature is just dipping below zero for a couple of hours over nite so not long enough for plant to freeze yet. I am going to mound some mulch around them once they are kn yhe ground. I’m going to show my husband your video… I told him last week I’m going to paint some trim, and he said no till spring cause then we can air the house out. … so I’m going to Home Depot and get some paint. Lol. Talk about Siberian Huskies… I had one for almost 16 years and she didn’t listen and couldn’t train her .. but I miss her so much and almost cry when I see one on the street..
