We moved to florida from Kansas which was cold also. 1st year was a struggle and we and kids would be sick all the time. After 1 yr things settled down. My son had mosquito allergy so you can imagine how hard our india travel and florida move was . But then we found that farmers market local honey helped us all to get over the allergies. We would take honey in winter and spring. Just letting you know incase you do make a move to place like texas and florida. Good luck with the new venture. You should always settle where the heart is!!

Hi Gaura, I can totally relate about weather, we also moved from cold snowy state to georgia and do see snakes and lizards which you don’t see in cold places. And here pollen allergies are high in number. overall weather is better than Florida. You both made good decision to move to Chicago ❤ do what makes you happy 😇🤗

Thanks for your review. But there is different kind of challenges everywhere. In tropical climate u feel hot and allergies but in cold climate u will get eczema , joint pain and cold/cough. I am living in FL, few months of the year kids get allergies not always. We do have lizards in late summer to fall season. I have never seen snakes in my community. In water areas, lakes we can see alligators. It’s very hot though in FL . Other than that good to live.

I have shared my experiences, different people have different opinions & and experiences. My kids were having allergies whole year and not just few months , yes there are challenges for cold places too, but we choose Chicago over Florida after living 2 years in FL

Florida is the worst state to move to.It's jus good place for taking vacation. would never move there just to enjoy warm weather. California is better choice for warm climate. It's hard for adults and kids to adapt to extreme climate changes, school changes etc. stick to the same place if everything is going good health wise.. unless n until it's because of career/ job choices. Good u moved back and hope kids will recover and enjoy✌️✌️
