The white vase was sold by the National Trust and there were 2 sizes the one you have is the larger one. They were sold about 10 years ago.I worked for the Trust before retiring. Hope this helps.

Sending hugs and best wishes to you for the house 'completing' soon and you and yours being on the move to your forever home. I must say I am flummoxed by your English house sale/purchase bizzo. Here in South Australia - contracts signed on purchase day whether done by direct sale or auction (generally speaking) and generally a 48 hour 'cooling off' period. Settlement day includes agreed contract and associated payments and handover of keys to property. All done between the conveyancers for each party to the sale with notification to the sales agent so emails of sent out so actual possession can take place by the purchasers - no lawyers etc as I understand happens in England.

We had a shop/house in Devon and also a flat that my son lived in - we (inc son and his gf) moved up to Lincs to a rented property while the sales went through - the shop/house took longer than we’d hoped and the flat sale fell through for the 3rd time. We are buying a house any day now. That’s the concise version 🤣
