Several years ago I was buying a car and was nearly agreeing to the purchase when the sales person said and also on top is the charge for a years road tax ( which we pay in the UK ) I just said is that not included and then got up and walked out the door , after I got ten yards the door opened and the sales person ran after me saying we will pay for 6 months road tax and with that I concluded the deal . To be honest I always feel as if I am being had over when buying a car I just think of now their minds are planning on trying to add on all this extra money .

I went to the Nissan dealership because I wanted to buy something not expensive, as I’m trying to save my money. I saw a 2022 Nissan Sentra for $17,000 fully loaded, and I told them I would pay for the car straight out, $17,000 flat. They said no because after they added everything, it would come out to $21,000. After about five hours of back-and-forth, I literally walked out and took an Uber home. The salesman kept texting and calling me. I gave them a horrible review. I just don’t like the back-and-forth bullshit. They wanted me to finance the rest. I was trying to explain to them that I don’t want any car payments living in New York. I don’t really need a car anyway, so I guess I’ll go without until I move to Texas next year.
