A Day in Palma de Mallorca Spain; Transatlantic Cruise Day 4

In this video we give our first impressions of Palma de Mallorca Spain. This is a city and capital of the Spanish island of Mallorca (Majorca), in the western Mediterranean (Day 4). This is all happening during our Transatlantic cruise onboard Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas. For our repositioning cruise, we left out of Civitavecchia Italy and are on our way to the United States of America. We booked the cheapest room, which is also called an inside or interior stateroom. In Palma we will scope out the incredible views, find some delicious food, and see as much as we can before we have to head back to the ship. This cruise is for 15 nights, but we had such a memorable day!

While prepping for a trip to Greece in 2021, your channel magically appeared on my recommendation. We have been huge fans of your work ever since, having watched nearly all. Turkey, Greece, Armenia & Nepal were amazing. LoL even with the timeline for the Transatlantic cruise vlog being nearly a year ago, it's still outstanding videography. Here would have been one small suggestion with regards to washing clothes, when the ship docks at a port for more than 6 hours, maybe next time find a laundry mat for the essentials. My daughter & her guy did a T.A cruise from Barcelona back to Florida in late October of 2023. I will ask her what they did regarding laundry. Cheers

Love watching this series. Way to get creative with laundry. One of the reasons (and there many others) I don't cruise on RC any longer is the fact that they nickel and dime you to death. I have been on over 25 cruises on 5 different lines, and they are the only ones that won't even give you an iron. Not all cruise lines have a laundry, but most have an ironing room or will bring one to you. I have also sent laundry out on other lines and not even close to how expensive RC is. Still great to see you had so much fun.

The cruise seems like a good way to travel and explore despite some inconveniences from the schedule! There is nothing sadder than getting to a restaurant you were excited about in Europe and seeing it closed 😭

Yes, we definitely enjoyed the cruise. And it gave us a little taste of places. Now we know where we want to visit and spend longer in the future!

Always interesting to see the little things like washing and drying cloths - it's got to be done but you might have to get creative on a cruise ship, especially with those prices. Cool that you made it to the Spanish Islands - Palma de Mallorca is an amazing place and it looks like you had a good wander around. Another magnet gets added to the collection!

Yea at least give us a quarter accepting washing machine on board! Thankfully we bought that laundry powder in Austria. It was fun to collect the magnets and have a place to display them during the cruise!
