I would really love to see a gardening 101 video. Where you can show us just exactly how you garden. From the type of soil, garden beds, brand of seeds, fertilizers and just everything you need to start a garden. I would love to start a garden one day and a video like this would be very helpful. I absolutely love your garden and your passion for it, and it has ultimately inspired me. Thank you so much sweet Allison for making videos like these. 💖

Allison, If you grind up your egg shells before putting them in the garden they will work much better. As they are or even just crunched up some more will take forever to break down. I actually dry the coffee grounds and mix with the powdered egg shell along with other things for our compost.

We bought several second hand serving bowls and scattered them in the garden. We filled them with water for the woodland visitors! Fun to watch the birds enjoy a bath and the squirrels and rabbits get their drinks. But if you do this, make sure you put some stones on one side so the bees and butterflies can also enjoy.

Great video! A tip: grind up those egg shells with the coffee grounds and integrate them into the soil instead of just placing them on top - that's going to actually improve your soil. You're not going to get the impact you're looking for if you just put them on top of the soil like that! Happy planting!

Pine trees live in acidic soil, meaning everything that doesn't like acidic soil is not gonna grow under it (all the plants you showed don't like that) and same effect do the leaves of the pine trees, so if you wanna have success esp in the garden behind which looked full of those you have to remove them and probably correct the soil pH. Or plant acidic soil loving plants. Also a point to the egg shells and coffee grounds: egg shells relieve calcium so they're good to balance the pH, coffee grounds on the contrary, shouldn't be used in an already acidic soil or with plants that don't love that soil. You can measure your soil pH with litmus paper (idk if it's called like that where you live)
