I agree...lets see, work hard on classes, or waste time making boring videos of yourself walking around campus; waste time going all the way back to your apartment several times a day; waste time on video games; waste time living so far from campus that you have to take a bus to classes, etc. Seems like he has way too much free time... Could be a theater major, or bad GPA. Maybe things have changed since the nineties when you add to work.

This looks like what an average college student's day in the life thing on a full class day. All the other ones I've seen are those perfectionist kids that study or be in class 90% of the day and read the other 10%. A video like this seems more relatable to much of the KZbin demographic. I've noticed comments from high schoolers on those other ones worrying about if their college life is going to be 100% work and no fun but this one keeps it on more of a realistic level and I like that. Your busy class day still has a good amount of free time for your stuff that can be substituted for the viewer's free time stuff and it definitely helps make college seem much easier and similar to high school. Also showing time of day for each event helps show the exact amount of free time you actually get. Nice video, shows the realistic day in the life rather than those videos from perfectionist students. Note: Not saying perfectionist students are bad, they definitely are prepared for the future. Just saying that when they make videos that say "Day in the Life of a College Student," and show their perfectionist style of day, they sometimes make younger viewers that enjoy their free time a little scared of what might be in their future education.

I remember sitting in a math study hall doing my calculus homework when some EOP students came in and were learning how to add and subtract fractions, at PSU Main! Some really smart kids never got in in order to make room for some below average ones.

WeArePSU632 I did the same. My advice? Stay at the branch campus. SAVE your money man. Is it a cool experience? Of course, but you get the same opportunities at the branch campus as those at state college. Best of luck

I didn’t have a job this past school year. You are required to live in dorms your freshmen year and it’s just like any type of housing but in a more smaller, compact setting. Some dorms don’t have certain amenities such as your own bathroom or shower inside. Some are public and others aren’t. Happy that you enjoyed the video and hope you decide to come to Penn State!

Johnny Mac I am in the same position. The average maybe two years ago was 1250-1430 (I think). If you fall in that range or above, you’re probably okay with the sat. A lot of colleges these days are moving towards an holistic application. This means that there is one person looking over your application and they consider everything. Good luck!

Yes I did. As a freshman, you’re forced to live on-campus but I recommend you move off after that.
