Hey y'all! !! North Carolina got hammered with thunderstorms yesterday, but that gave us temps in the 80s today, with low humidity. I'm loving it!!! I needed to hear the motivational talk today. I've been through the dark place that you speak of... Four years, on December 4th, my husband took his life, on our 23rd anniversary. I was left to raise two teenage boys, and it hasn't been easy. My oldest son graduated this year, and my youngest will be a Freshman next school year. Times get tough, but we always get through it. Dear Mindy, I’ve recently started watching your videos and can honestly say I look forward to them just as much as my favorite shows I record weekly. I wanted to say that your pep talk was sooooo relatable and so true in my life also, we don’t realize that in the moments where everything seems to be going all wrong and bad, that those moments are temporary and there is always a 💡 at the end of the tunnel. Thank you so much for your “rant.” I needed to hear it. The last four years has been horrible, with bone cancer leading to frozen joint replacements, and a horrible autoimmune disease that attacked my nerves. I was stuck in bed unable to walk or stand or use my hands. I’m very very slowly getting better, but it’s hard being bedbound for the last seven months.
