That's just some of what I find when a work contract brings me to Valencia -- where I try to balance living like a local, and experiencing what this sunny Spanish city has to offer.
Come with me through, more or less, my typical day in Valencia -- from sun up to lights out -- at a few of my favourite spots!

HI! Would you recommend Valencia for a study abroad experience? My fear is that it's too dull compared to other spanish cities near the coast... also, do people speak english too or are you compelled to speak spanish/catalan? Thank you in advance of for your answer

Kumo no Juza Valencia has a great night life if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s not as crowded (touristy) as Madrid and Barcelona, I’ve been here for a year and a half and of course experiences varies, in my case I’m having a great time here. They speak in Castellano and Valenciano, if you’re studying abroad you should try and speak the language, it’ll make the experience more unique. Some might speak to you in English but majority won’t, you have to try and learn some Spanish phrases to get around. They appreciate it when foreigners speak in Spanish :)

Thanks! And yes, all shot with my phone. I'm just more into how much more easier to carry and discreet it can be when I'm trying to avoid looking too touristy, haha! I edit and do all my animations with Adobe Premiere Pro.
