I sometimes drive one of our 8.9m E200s, in lieu of a similar length but much longer-wheelbase Solo. I've only been driving a couple of months and don't have much to compare it with, but I find the E200 to be quite twitchy. They also have the Voith gearbox which loves to change up just when you don't want it to - the Solos we have are (worn out) hybrids so have a stepless electric drive which is very smooth and at least gives a feeling of building speed, once they've decided to start moving in the first place! It didn't help that nobody told me how to put the E200's gearbox into reverse..... (yes you press 'R' but you also have to confirm!)

Our company only has 2 e200mmcs, we refer to them as ADLs. Sad because i haven’t properly drove one yet, i did get to drive it a little and it was very nice and nippy. They’ve got the new logo and fancy LCD dash, 24 plate. Something to add also, we recently got new ticketer displays with an android tablet instead of the normal ticketer screen. Much faster, it doesn’t lag or freeze at all and there’s no delay when someone is paying by card.

I believe the current dealer spec still includes these Kiel high-backed seats, and the Mobitec-brand White LED displays with the ICU402/ICU602 display controller and now with an onboard announcement system, as supplied by the McKenna Brothers' of Scotland...
