Super leuke video. En jong geleerd oud gedaan. Hele dag werk en dat is dan nog een eenvoudige dag. Er moet ook nog gras gemaaid en binnen gehaald en mais geoogst neem ik aan. Elk seizoen nog een hoop werk erbij. Bedankt boeren , wij zijn er blij mee. Nu nog fatsoenlijke melkprijzen. Dan maar wat meer betaald in de super. Een consument.

What do you mean by worth wile? Instead of a swing over? We like this milking parlour, I think this is the most used king af milking parlour in the Netherlands

We milk 70 cows, a 2x10 swing-over is to small for a swing-over i think. A swing over is more like a 2x20 of something like that, and that’s way to big for the amount of cows we have. You van handle a 2x10 like we have by one person, and milk around 60 to cows an our.

Why you feed them salt?

I will try to explain it simply: when it’s hot (25degrees Celsius or more) the cows eat less food. Normally the produce their own bicarbonate(salt) in their saliva when they chew (ruminate), but when it’s hot-> less food -> less bicarbonate and that leads to a lower PH grade in their stomag. Hope it makes a little bit of sense 😉.
