@@natebolan365 I'm not sure but did you mean that Harvard is only much harder to get in but the academics there may not be any more difficult than other lower ranked schools with regards to equivalent courses?

It’s because the hardest part about any Ivy or UC is the getting in part as for the work and classes they’re usually the same as any other university. They only hold the prestige because of how little people they accept.

It depends on your major . Computer science and engineering classes are tough and requires a lot more studying compared to others.

Yep Barstool named us the #10 party school in the nation, but let's just say that's not entirely accurate

I think that's what makes Harvard a great place to be at. Parties are unnecessary and can be even harmful (e.g. researches have shown that there is no "safe" amount of alcohol, it is a dangerous drug, but it's still not prohibited at parties, which is a shame.)

Let's assume, for example, that you take Linear Algebra, Intro Organic Chemistry, Intro Microeconomics, Intro Philosophy, and Intro Political Science at Harvard and also these exact same courses at a lower ranked school like University of Georgia. Are they both similar or Harvard is much harder & more demanding than Georgia (tougher grading curve, more homework, harder exams, etc.)?

The quality of education is arguably the same. Linear Algebra isn't harder at Harvard.

take advanced courses if your school offers it, and make sure to do extracurriculars :)

you can self-study for AP exams and make your school sign you up! If you can't afford taking them, take the most rigorous and hard classes your school has to academically challenge yourself! If you can take college classes at your local college (dual enrollment classes). Also make sure your extracurriculars are purely based on your passion and dream goals!
