he pulled me over the first time I ever was I was speeding, I was doing 33 in a 30 and he said I wanted to warn you they are cracking d0wn because residents complain, the speed limit went from 50 to 30 and it's hard when you have ass holes following your tail you have to speed. he was so nice and I as ked what I do with the warning he said throw it out the window for all I care just don't let me see it. We need more like him

Recently the police were called to my house for a welfare check. I'm a chronic alcoholic who used to be sober for 8 years, so welfare checks by my friends and family are common. Most of the times it's the same officers and they know I respect police. This particular time the police officer hadn't met me. My memory of the event was off. (I was a 0.67, thought I was walking fine, and thought he was rude to me as soon as he walked through my door.) I filed a complaint against him for unlawfully taking me from my home and threatening to charge me with Obstruction of I don't comply. Turns out I willingly went to the hospital, thinking that they were forcing me. But he did tell me, as we were pulling into the Sally Port, that if I didn't comply (which I was already doing) that he would charge me with Obstruction. I saw the bodycam footage. He's a nice man. All I want is for him to be retrained. If someone is already doing what you want them to do, then that's good. Don't do or say anything to agitate them. Why am I more trained in crisis intervention than police? I still respect police and I apologized to the officer for alleging that he was rude from the beginning and that I was walking "just fine."
