Back in 2006, maybe 2007 I was working local in Shreveport. We used to haul a few Cellxion buildings out of Bossier City. The Verizon buildings were big and heavy back then. They had an emergency generator and the gross weight was probably around 100,000 pounds if I remember right. I carried one to a mountain top near Conway AR in a daycab Mack and a 53 foot triaxle step deck. I turned onto a gravel road off US 65 and met the crew. They prepared me for the scariest moment in my trucking career. They pulled me up the mountain with a D6 Caterpillar and pushed from behind with a D5. The truck and trailer leaned to the left around a curve and the guy on the radio said don’t worry it’ll be fine and joked don’t look down! We got to top, hooked the crane to the building and lifted the building off. I unhooked the trailer to turn the truck around as they lifted and spun the trailer around with the crane so I could get down the mountain. I talked to the guys for a minute. They said all the engineers see is a slab for a building and a cell tower and do not take into account what it takes to get them up there.

Interesting thing about electric problems , shorts , broken or loose wires .. a hand held compass slide compass along wire loom . Polarity will flip on compass where break or short , or corrosion is issue or loose wire culprit is . Try it easier than tearing open complete harness . Better with good quality compass . Mechanical engineer since 1968 bachelor degree. Disabled now so I’m passing on helpful tools. . Oh yeah shifter reminds me of Ed (big daddy ROTH ) tee shirts he would use stripping paint sprayer . Then paint aRAT FINK shirt of the 60s70s80s don’t know if uve ever seen one of the tee’s

Very true, definitely get into some very tight spots. Great video. The TN oversize laws, drivers make sure to read them permits and follow the directions.

Heard on one of the convoy lives that Bennett fired a driver for going with them to DC he had rented a penskie truck and they made him bring It back to where he rented it after they found out he was going to DC. Have you heard anything to that effect ? Well never mind don't want you to get into any trouble for saying either way so forget I asked Yel I guess they figured that those building's would never be moved when they placed them there year's ago and planted all the cover trees to hide them. But stay safe and keep the video's coming

THIS IS MY OPINION ON THE CONVOY. I have mixed feelings on it, I think it should be more about the ELD,fuel prices, broker's, the regulations on the industry and stuff to stop the independents and owner ops from getting screwed over. Yea, I understand the Vaccine things as well. I am not against that either the government can't make u get the vacccine. I just feel like what I previously said is more important. The vaccine isn't federally mandated it's only at the state levels so I feel vaccine protest should be held in the states that require it.. AGAIN THIS IS MY OPINION. YOU HAVE ONE AS WELL AND WE ARE ALL ENTITLED TO OUR OPINION..

@@kennethrabyjr I agree with you on the elds I will hang it up before a computer tells me when to sleep and when to drive I've been at it for 42 years I'm almost retired now I don't run 6 days a week anymore with the company I'm with but there's a lot of stuff that has to go back to how it use to be like fuel prices , oil, food that's something none of use can do without and the prices are so high , all I no it's a big mess and with the one's in office now it's only gonna get worse and worse like the last year but as you said that's my 2 cents worth have a good one

Great video again, hey bud whenever you get a chance can you explain how to lift that flip axle with the chains and binder? I’ve seen it a lot and I believe it’s a trick so you don’t have to flip the entire axle on top of trailer, but to just raise it up off the floor a bit. Would be nice to just do that then flip the entire thing. Thanks!
