So this is why you need to go solo. Go to the elderly and help them out. Charge a minimum of $30 an hour, ask them if they know of anyone else that needs help and get more customers. Offer other services, like if they need a ride, or if they want you to go grocery shopping for them, or do their laundry, cook for them, or just talk to them. I'm sure they will really appreciate your help.

@@tiffanygarciarosario6591 It depends. If it's something you don't enjoy doing, or maybe it's something easier for you. So you can charge anywhere from $15 to $25 dollars an hour for other things like making appointments for them, taking them to appointments, making food, etc. I would try to gauge it by their financial status. I wouldn't want to charge a low income person the same as a wealthy person. Pray about it and God will guide you. Hope this helps!

@@dystanysam9896 most hotels yes you get to keep tips. I worked at a casino/hotel where they said all tips were to be turned in but honestly we kept our tips anyways. No manager or supervisor is gonna go into your rooms before you and look for tips. 🤷‍♀️

Every house keeping video I watch I read the comments and everyone loves it. I’ve been considering doing this while I run my esthetician business on the side. HOWEVER.. I am an introvert I can barely get past the awkwardness in my business lol so when you have to clean stay over rooms do those people leave or do they stay in there? Also is it weird to knock on doors and say housekeeping, I don’t like bothering people but I do want to give this job a try.

I just applied to one this week and I'm gonna call in to check up on my status. For housekeeping, are you expected to get things done in a timely matter, or are you just expected to clean your areas before the end of your shift? Or like, what do they expect from housekeepers? I'm now a housekeeper at 20 .. and the people I clean for are higher class (4-5 bathrooms 6 bedrooms kinda house with 2 people living there) and they all tell me to leave this job and go back to school 😂 "your to younge to do this job, do something you enjoy" Plus every client is polar opposite what they want done and how they want it done.. some watch you in person or on a camera .. others will say looks fine some say theirs spots on my toilet seat and you have to drive 30 mins for a touch up I'm going back to school 😂job made me grumpy and hate my clients

Hello Glad I found your video. One thing I've learn about vehicles,older they get,soon or later with have problems with them. I sold my car earlier this year,because the engine and trans were gone. Now that I don't have a car,I'm starting to feel different,about owning one right away. I found out,since I work for Lyft,I can rent a vehicle under Lyft,for less money,if I went on my own,and gotten it. Plus,Lyft will paid for my gas,if I rent though them. Not a bad ideal,to do my normal job,and my other jobs too.

I'm in training to do housekeeping. I'm so tired everyday. I'm going back to janitorial work, because I like to stay to myself. Some of the housekeepers I work with now have nasty attitudes the supervisors are upset with the new trainees myself included. I just try to stay away from all negativity.Because we're not getting the routine down and they going to by ourselves this week to see how we adjust to it this Saturday . I just just avoid it. And the only break we have is 30 minute breaks, and we have to clean 16 rooms and I'm in training right now.
