My Vizsla is called Nelly and she was born with a missing leg. She is about the happiest creature to walk.. well hop the earth. She is allways wagging her tail and bouncing up to greet people. Such an underrated doggo 10/10 recommend the bundles of joy

Hi thanks for the comment. We get Jetts Raw food from Raw Essentials in Kaiwharawhara in Wellington www.rawessentials.co.nz they also do delivery if you can't get to the shop also once your a customer take a pic of your dog eatting the food and email it to them and they put the photo up on the wall in their shop 😊 and I'll keep a look out as my jett is the only V on the wall 😂

Love this! Thanks for sharing. Jett has a great life :) Really interested to know more about the raw meat diet. We are planning to move away from kibble to a raw diet for our Vizsla soon. Any tips?

Thanks for the nice comment :). I highly recommend the Raw diet. We buy Jett ready made mince frozen cubes that and has alsorts of different proteins and bones such as beef possom salmon lamb chicken tripe etc. He also gets other stuff like possom tails chicken necks pilchards, the more variety the better. We do the pre made mixes as we don't have the time to work out the correct percentages he needs of bone organ and meat so it's just easier for us but also means Jett gets a good diet. We buy bulk 20kg box which last 20 days (Jett has his own freezer 😁). You'll just need to workout what your Vizsla needs to eat by calculating 3-4% of their ideal body weight, once you've done that for few weeks you'll need to just feed the dog you see, so if they're too skinny up the % or too big then lower it or stay as is if its working. Jett probably had around 5% as he is very active and still skinny! There's a FB group called Vizsals Raw and Natural which has good info. Raw food suppliers tend to be very helpful too! Happy to answer any more questions if you need any help. Good luck 👍 In a couple of weeks when I stock up for Jett I'll make a video on it.
