It’s definitely not easy. I felt that part! I have been giving up on & off for many reasons. I’ve been critiquing myself as well. But I have children & I have a job and it’s hard to do all of that & be an MUA. Everybody begs me to keep going but it’s not making me enough money sometimes

Me too i have a son. Working from home makes it easier for my life. But building clients is harder. I spent so much on my kit but not making it back sucks

Girl keep being great!✨🤩 I swear I used to do makeup before and I loved it I was doing other peoples makeup here and there. Hey I’ve always wanted to ask someone else how they feel about taking clients in their home. Does it bother you sometimes or do you plan to get a building in the future because I really am iffy about people coming to my house but at the same time I think it’s because of where I live too.

I work from home as well as a upcoming MUA. I turned my extra room into a makeup studio which is so nice but I don’t t get many clients where i live which sucks. Idc if me working from home is the reason but renting a chair or getting a building seems like a waste of money right now.

@@Iamshanti_denay true but mainly because of covid. I feel like in the future if I decide to continue on with makeup I’m gonna invest in a small suite or something because I’m not big on letting people in my house all the time.

I personally haven't had any issue, its easy for me especially with covid you never know what can happen. I have security/alarm system. In the future yes I would love to have my while building not just a unit.
