I dont know how many times I watched this video. I first came across it before i even started my training. Now I have my last flight test (ifr) in about one month. I cant wait to have the chance to fly for this company one day and will keep coming back to this video whenever I need to refuel my dream. They hire mostly pilots with northern experience including turbine experience around 1500hrs. I have 3 friends at Porter and all 3 were hire with more than 3,000 hours including turbine PIC time in MU2s or B1900s.

Nice video. I flew airlines for a bit, so I can say you were smart to leave out the delays, getting de-iced in the morning, six leg days and short layovers with short sleep followed by a day of CAT I and CAT II approaches. But they were fun too!

I know pilots from this video personally who have left Porter two years ago to work in another airline that provides a proper paycheque. The pay that Porter pilots receive is shameful. That is why they cant find pilots.
