Bro its easy .. this simply refers to the object where ( this ) is written .. For example you have an object called age and a property called birthYear .. instead of calling the property like this age.birthYear You use : this.birthYear ( which means this is equal to the object it self ) And if you wondering why we use ( this ) its because if you wanted to change the object name , then you have to change the name in multiple places which is not ideal and could make bugs and problems

Find a website/app you like and try to recreate it or improve on it. I would start simple by learning HTML/CSS and creating a basic design, play around with layouts and just learn the very basics. Don't be afraid to google everything or post help on forums
