@@chunbuns i thought it was interesting how you present to the different groups. at a startup i was stuck presenting to everyone at once, and eventually the meeting group got so interested/big that it was nearly impossible to give everyone the same type of info in the same way for me. finance, engineering, ceo, other design, marketing, and ops all in the same room together. it got a bit out of hand. having 1 on 1's with people instead may have worked better, since sometimes the designs catered to what the PM and CEO wanted but not anyone else. so it wasn't really relevant to them

Tech industry used to embrace introverts. I don't understand all the distractions in 30% meetings, and presentations. What ever happened to value in getting things done without all the extroverted fluff setbacks that distract away from the creative process. Tech & design people would be working in Sales if they really wanted all that extroverted time wasting activities. Like if I'm working on a painting, or coding a website and get a million calls in that time it kills the creative process, any process. This is why I prefer freelance work. Work time is dedicated to actually working, not talk, talk, talk. Nothing worse than a ton of meetings and presentations then a boss yelling at you to meet a deadline. A deadline that could of been met easily without all the fluff talk. I don't work to party and socialize with superficial co-workers. I work to accomplish tasks, to be proud of my results, to better a business & their customers, and make money.

So interesting to see the differences and similarities between SF tech culture and Korean tech culture! The free t-shirts and screen printing look SO COOL! Great video!! And I didn't notice the hair length changes because I was so busy watching your content!!

Do you work as an ux designer in korea? I was wondering how it is over there, probably very competitive...

My design uni course is basically this, every semester i have a main project where we work with a client that comes to us (a team of designers and computer engineers) with a problem and we have to find a solution, usually a product like you said. The project + all the coursework we have is really stressful, specially during a pandemic where we are working 100% online. ive been having some burnout symptoms and feeling very unmotivated and questioning if that's what I want to do when I finish uni but videos like this one really helps me keep my motivation up and continue on my project
