hello hello and welcome to my first video of 2024!
One of my goals this year is to be more consistent with my uploads so hoping to have weekly videos for you guys and again a huge thank you for 200 subscribers!
this week I am sharing with you a day in the life of an actor (or actress - whatever you prefer) as I prepare for my National Youth Theatre Casting Day Audition.
I had to prepare a monologue and a special skill, so come along with me as I go through my preparation process.

im auditioning for the 2025 cohort, I did the play in the week for 14-17 at nyt and have a drama scholarship for my school but im TERRIFIED, i want to start looking for monologues but idk if its way too far in advance?

This is super super exciting!!! firstly it’s never too early to start looking for monologues (I wouldn’t suggest rehearsing it too early as the performance can become a bit stale) but having a great selection of monologues to choose from puts you in a great position! secondly, do not stress yourself, it’s great you’ve already had experience with NYT and that you are a drama scholar, so just be yourself in your audition and I’m sure you will do great:)
