A day in the life of an Equine Racing Apprentice!

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a racing apprentice?
We are extremely excited to share a day in the life of our fantastic racing apprentice, Genevieve Pretorius 👏
Genevieve is currently completing her level 3 senior equine racing groom apprenticeship at DML Racing and is supported by her racing specialist Trainer Coach, Sam Davies-Thomas.
We followed Genevieve during a typical day at the yard as she explains her role and what she enjoys about her apprenticeship, saying, “Haddon Training have helped me learn new skills… I learnt about feed, injuries, how to treat them, and clipping… I get to work with horses all day, which I love!”
