I have a 7 year old Irish terrier and miss her puppy days!! What a sweet angel!!

Everytime I see irish terriers, I shed a tear :( Our beautiful Amy died a few weeks ago, she was 16...Such a sweet angel, I will never forget how she laid dead in the box my dad brought with him to the vet. Few days prior to her euthanization, she randomly dropped on the floor a few times...At first, we thought epilepsy or a brain tumor (she had a past with cancer) but when we brought her to the vet on her final day, he told us that she had water in her lungs which cut the oxygen intake to her blood. He then said if we don't euthanize her right now, she may die in a few days, so I'm very glad we granted her a peaceful way out. She was my first dog and I have so many beautiful memories with her...She always cheered me up when I was feeling down, she was the thing that held our family together when there were arguments etc. Irish terriers are literally angels sent from above, such sweet, loving dogs!

It’s always heartbreaking when you have to say goodbye as they become part of the family. It also makes it more difficult as unlike people where feelings can be complicated, it is 100% unconditional love. I’m sorry for your loss but Amy didn’t suffer and you did all you could. You are right Irish Terriers arn’t like other dogs they are so much more

Do you take her out on grass? She’s lovely. When we had an Irish puppy my husband and I worked in shifts. I’d stay up with her until midnight then she’d get crated. My husband would wake at 6 am and do the morning shift. A lot of work but she was an amazing dog. Hoping to get our second one someday.

So SWEET! She looks almost a bit like my Henry, an Australian Terrier. Or rather my Henry perhaps looks a bit like she does, since the Aussie is related to the Irish Terrier. Their coloring is very similar. Of course, all the terriers are inter-related. Her ears will remain floppy. My little guy's are pricked up, as are the Aussies'. BTW: I have the same problem with Henry running after me in my sleep/sweat pants. Enjoy her!! She's adorable.

Not sure WHY!! I'm watching your beautiful puppy as I have an 11 month old Lakeland laying down 10 ft away!!! That does the same thing other than she is mostly housebroke now.

Hi, as a puppy she was fed Lilly's kitchen chicken and salmon dry puppy food. Now as an adult she has Tesco's own adult tinned wet food and then some Harrington complete dry food which she sort of snacks on during the day. Irish terriers can be fussy when it comes to food

We did yes!! Thats really cool, so you have one of twiglets brothers or sisters. She's grown so much since this video

@@rowanwanstall6599 yes! I had a feeling she was, looks and acts very similar. Her brothers name is Reggie. He’s a little nutcase sometimes and still getting to grips with toilet training but other than that he’s brilliant

I have a question! What kind of food are you feeding the pup? I will be picking my puppy in a couple of weeks
@rowanwanstall65993 жыл бұрын
Brilliant! I wish you and your new pup all the best :) We feed her Lily's kitchen dry puppy food. Someone add some of the Lily's wet food in too to make it more exiting for her. While she was a pup we kept weighing her to make sure she was getting the right amount of food.

Sorry , Shoelace, Sketchy Stuff she can ingest. All Terriers are Tenacious. You need to teach right & Wrong. at her young age. Your Teachings Shape Her for Life..

i did not to over step any boundaries of how you raise your pup.

You are completely right. It was all fun and cute when she was a puppy but we then realised we had taught her it was okay to chew our shoes.

So basically your apartment is her toilet and you're inviting your dog on the cleaning job making her believe that it's a wonderful thing she's done! She'll sure to please you again and again. BTW, are you captives in the apartment?! Go out, take the dog on strolls, she needs to exercise, lack of exercise is terrible for the Irish Terrier breed. Should you let her out during a pandemic? You should let her out even if it's the end of the world! Sorry but you are not the cleanest people, even though you spray and brush and shampoo shiz all over the place... The gem is your deck! I bet you're renting; the landlord would LOVE you /s.

@@Ceilet Order in Chaos is absolutely right. It is apparent that the owners love their dog, but it is equally apparent that they haven’t the first clue how to raise it.

@@richarddelasota1812 i agree like why you live by the beach and to lazy to walk the dog to the grass down stairs and use the restroom? I dont understand you let your dog piss and shit on your deck and tell the dog good boy.. you live on the beach the deck is your throne. They dont discipline the dog when he uses the restroom inside they let him thinks its okay. Also dude still lives at home with his mum i guess his mom never trained her son either lol 😆 😂 🤣 ..
