Happy New Year, Lil’ Joey. I know that was u off camera when Corie was preparing her eggs. FYI - ships at sea, at least U.S. Navy ships, turn off the interior white lights at sunset - if there is a hatch (door) that when opened, will allow the light to shine outside of the ship - and turn on red lights. It’s a 3-way toggle switch mounted in various passageways (hallways) throughout the ship - up is white lights, middle is off and down is red lights. Then, at sunrise, the white lights r turned back on.

These 'Day in the Life' videos are always so great! I enjoy seeing things like the chickens fed, and things around the house. It may be regular day to day life, but it is so nice and inspiring to see :) I grew up outside of a small mountain town, but my family and I moved away. I miss it all of the time and want to get back to living in a place like that as soon as possible! It may be funny to hear, but videos like this seem to help me not feel so home sick. So thank you very much for what you both do with all of these videos :) and thank you for bringing out one of the Les Pauls! :D Was that a Stray Cats song that you played on it? Oh, and YES, Katie!!! Thanks for letting us hang around with you for the day. You have a simple but yet very blessed life. I know you realize that. I definitely think Katie needs to do one of these. Consider that an official request Katie.One of the things that I've always been so amazed about with your and Katie's videos as well as your moms is the amount that you are interacting with everyone. I mean you guys are easily getting a couple hundred comments on most of your videos and the fact that you interact with as many as you do is kind of amazing. I know that makes everyone feel good and we all appreciate that. But you're right, you girls and your mom are quickly getting to the point where interacting and responding is going to become very difficult. I guess that's the price you pay for success, but I know we're going to miss it.

Love the chickens! I miss my hens. They are definitely characters, and each with their own personality. If you are wearing your good boots in their run/coop, you may want to reconsider. Chickens are dirty birds, and their living conditions contain a lot of microbes and junk. I had a dedicated pair of sorel's insulated rubber boots just for use when I would tend to the chickens all year long. Periodically I would give them a real good bleach wash to disinfect them. I would leave these in a dedicated place in the mud room and they never went any further in the house. When we got rid of this last round of hens, again I disinfected my boots, and wear them around the yard to do other things now. I still need to clean the coop out, so I will have to disinfect them one more time when I am done with that chore. These boots also do not have thick chunky treads, so dirt and chicken poop does not get lodged in the treads. Your new boots seem to have good treads, lots of spaces to load up on chicken junk and track through the house! (Sorry, my husband is a serious germaphobe, and with my profession, I tend to know way to much about a lot of things, and just try to pass along info.) Your boots are awfully nice to ruin them with chicken poop. Also, once you have them laced tight enough with your typical sock wear unzip them and see if you can remove them without untying them. If you can, great, from then on, only need to use the zipper, saves the laces and the speed hooks (if there are any, didn't get a close look at them when you showed them). If you can't get out of them with only the zipper, loosen the laces some to where they are still secure on your foot but loose enough to get on/off only using the zipper. The boots will last you a very long time.

Corie, thanx for sharing. Good to see you taking supplements, you didn't mention a multi vitamin, but they are highly recommended. The best kind for me are the ones made from a food base. The other thing is the seat belt irritation. I found a pad at the auto store that can be put on seat belts and the pad stops the irritation. The pad wraps around the belt and can be positioned for your comfort. Pad is held on with velcro and can be removed for washing. I have used them for years, they make a big difference on long trips. Re: Teeth Grinding ... I too have always had this and the only relief I ever found from it was when I began taking medicine for another issue - HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. Are you certain that you do not have this other malady? Even young people can have it. I hope and pray you'll see this message. High blood pressure led to a heart attack for me before I was 55 even and I never had any idea that I suffered from it. It was genetic.

They gave me a mouth guard after I got my Braces off and before I got my retainers to wear at night and I think for me, it made me grit my teeth even harder.

I stopped using my mouth guard from the dentist and used dental trays instead that I got off eBay. Found it much easier to sleep with because they were softer. And also the mouth guard has to keep being changed if you have dental work done. I don't grind, I bite and then break my teeth.

Great video I thank you for sharing your faith and love for Jesus and your family. You are so right the best way to begin our day is with Jesus talking to him about our day and he helps us to make the right decision. I remember me and my brother are identical twins a few minutes apart and when we were little we used to suck our thumbs 👍 and mom and dad would put some medicine on our thumbs that when we would put them in our mouth it would burn so we could not suck our thumbs. It's always nice to see what kind of day to day routine our friends have. And I'm so proud of you for putting your time in the Word first. It's amazing how much better our days go when we do that. On another subject I know you crochet. So did every woman in my family except me. Mama tried to teach me when I was 12 but I had no patience with it. I am a granny now but I decided to try to teach myself to do it from youtube. If you get a chance could you show us on screen how you hold your yarn and hook to make it flow. I keep having trouble with chain being different size stitches and can't get the hook back through the loop. I hope I get it figured out this time. Thanks for the great videos.
