Love your videos. It’s so refreshing to see the traditional values you hold, I too am a Christian and it always seemed odd to others when I would hang out with my husband (at the time he was my boyfriend) when we were dating but then go home at the end of the night. I am 77 and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 56 years. My routine is similar to yours, up around 5:30. Since I live in Florida I go for an early 21/2 mile walk with my dog then fix my own breakfast. My hubby gets up around 8:00 and enjoys cooking his own breakfast. Then we do our Bible reading together and discuss it. Our day is filled with the usual housework, shopping, tv, and walks. We like to look for bargains and are careful with our money so we can go on a cruise each year. We have a small cabin in Robbinsville that we visit in Spring and Fall. Keep God first in your life and remember to say “I love you” to each other every day.

Hey 😊 Corie been watching your site and your mother's site. I heard your mom was born in Copper Hill . My Uncle Luther worked at the Copper mine for 36 years. My mom and her side of our family are from Blairsville and Blue Ridge , Georgia area. Also have family in Murphy ,NC. South East Tennessee . I live in Galesburg, Illinois where My father is from . I Moved to Woodstock , Georgia North of Atlanta. I would often drive to on of my relatives house to get up in the North Georgia Mountains . I love the mountains and the people especially After Sunday Church Service. Just like ya'all do Everybody after Church would drive by and stop in .My Uncle and Aunts house 🏡 . Anybody that had a guitar 🎸 fiddle , mandolin, banjo or what ever they including their singing. And we would play bluegrass music 🎶 all afternoon.We would have plenty of food that the women folk would cook.God Bless them for the food.plus the fellowship and good toe tapping bluegrass music 🎶. I could talk all day about my family y friends in the mountains.but I would have to write a book.So for now Peace Out And God Bless you folks for bringing back a lot of memories.

These 'Day in the Life' videos are always so great! I enjoy seeing things like the chickens fed, and things around the house. It may be regular day to day life, but it is so nice and inspiring to see :) I grew up outside of a small mountain town, but my family and I moved away. I miss it all of the time and want to get back to living in a place like that as soon as possible! It may be funny to hear, but videos like this seem to help me not feel so home sick. It's always nice to see what kind of day to day routine our friends have. And I'm so proud of you for putting your time in the Word first. It's amazing how much better our days go when we do that. On another subject I know you crochet. So did every woman in my family except me. Mama tried to teach me when I was 12 but I had no patience with it. I am a granny now but I decided to try to teach myself to do it from youtube. If you get a chance could you show us on screen how you hold your yarn and hook to make it flow. I keep having trouble with chain being different size stitches and can't get the hook back through the loop. I hope I get it figured out this time. Thanks for the great videos. I have to wear a bite guard too because I clench my teeth. We are also early risers, usually around 5, I can't stand to sleep the morning away. Early to bed, early to rise.......It is such a blessing to see you work with your mom and to be able to work at home. Love that you call Austin "DOLL" that is so sweet. Love the chickens! I miss my hens. They are definitely characters, and each with their own personality. If you are wearing your good boots in their run/coop, you may want to reconsider. Chickens are dirty birds, and their living conditions contain a lot of microbes and junk. I had a dedicated pair of sorel's insulated rubber boots just for use when I would tend to the chickens all year long. Periodically I would give them a real good bleach wash to disinfect them. I would leave these in a dedicated place in the mud room and they never went any further in the house. When we got rid of this last round of hens, again I disinfected my boots, and wear them around the yard to do other things now. I still need to clean the coop out, so I will have to disinfect them one more time when I am done with that chore. These boots also do not have thick chunky treads, so dirt and chicken poop does not get lodged in the treads. Your new boots seem to have good treads, lots of spaces to load up on chicken junk and track through the house! (Sorry, my husband is a serious germaphobe, and with my profession, I tend to know way to much about a lot of things, and just try to pass along info.) Your boots are awfully nice to ruin them with chicken poop. Also, once you have them laced tight enough with your typical sock wear unzip them and see if you can remove them without untying them. If you can, great, from then on, only need to use the zipper, saves the laces and the speed hooks (if there are any, didn't get a close look at them when you showed them). If you can't get out of them with only the zipper, loosen the laces some to where they are still secure on your foot but loose enough to get on/off only using the zipper. The boots will last you a very long time.

Hey you drive those back road and there are alot of deer. You can buy wistles at auto zona or parts store go on front bumper they work. Been using for a long time my husband worked out in the country lot of deer. Watch how they reacted and they would stop not run in reaction to lights
