It's my favorite show, not just the stories and the characters, but - one of the few shows that 'does the horse stuff' right. I'm old enough for social security and have never been without horses. I grew up wandering in the pasture with the Shetlands, no adult out there with me, and boy, those ponies never bit, kicked, or did anything to me, even though I might have been trying to get on them! I've had a boarding stable, I showed for years, mostly Palomino Quarter Horses, and yes, I just got in a new horse to train, a rescue two-year-old. I'm a little more careful what I throw a leg over these days (new knee), but you can't keep us cowgirls down. Horses, dogs, cats, they are part of my soul. I see that in you, Amber, and it shows that you are very much like Amy. Love you both!!

Today, I can’t imagine life without Heartland! Each character is a part of my life. I’ve even gotten to where I can anticipate their next line of dialogue in a scene. (When you know someone so well, often you know the next thing they’re going to say.) Kudos to the set decorator, who has made Jack’s kitchen, dining room and living room so authentic. Turning on Headtland each evening after a long day is like returning home. You know you’ll find love and affection there. Great job, writers, directors, producers, set decorators, animal, wranglers, just everyone. You give us a family to come home to each night.

I was watching reruns last night and my little dog remembers the music in the beginning and came running in and was barking up at the tv she likes the horses and will sit and watch them! 😅❤

As someone from Florida whom my wife and I started watching the show on Netflix as a "Hey let's see if this is a good show" (only because I love horses and ranching) we both fell in love with them show and the cast. Cannot wait for more to come. I hope there is another 18 seasons of Heartland. Granted by then I will be 62 years old, but I am fine with that.

Love Heartland!! I didn’t discover it until this year, so I have binged for weeks now on your series. The characters are wonderful and the story so poignant. It brings fond memories of my days riding horses and the special relationship I had with all of my animals. My favorite series of all time! I can watch it over and over. Took me years to try it. I thought it’d be stupid with no authentic progressive horsemanship. Was I ever wrong! I use to fix damaged Arabians, horses were my life. Disability and old age has stolen that from me. Another reason I couldn’t watch Heartland, it was too emotional to relive the loss. Heartland has actually been healing! Thanks you Amber for the backstage day pass 😁

What’s interesting is there is a building at the farm you don’t see. It’s between the kwanzaa hut and farmhouse. I think there is only one scene if you pay attention you’ll catch a glimpse of the roofline. The mailbox isn’t there year round and they takedown the Heartland sign because people have come and stolen it in the past. Loved my time in Calgary visiting all these places of Heartland and being on the sets of 1706 & 1805!!
