Kinel flashback of all the memories on the ferries as a kid. I loved it, buying a ticket and going on it for no reason other than joy. The simplest things ay? My family weren't minted but I always got excited going on it.

Going back to ride on the Mersey Ferry October 2017, the last time I went on it I was 7 years old that was 66 years ago. Want to re-live that trip again and all the memories it left me with, roll on October.

Snowdrop?................what are Mersey Ferries doing poncing about with this for when the real ROYAL IRIS the boat that saved lives at Dunkirk is rotting in the Thames they should hang their head in shame when they pick up their wages

I know it is terrible, they should get it back to its home and display as part of the maritime museum next to the edmund pilot.

You Divvi.The Royal Iris that in rotting on the river thames was built in 1952 so how could it have saved lives in Dunkirk.The have been more than one royal iris.
