A Day in the Life of Vintage Classic Specialist, Episode 151, the 61 Deluxe is 98% cosmetically done

Another long day at the shop with Octavio, myself and for a while a 3rd guy, all working on the bus to get it as far along cosmetically as humanly possible. The results are amazing, this bus looks so GOOD! Our client is taking it in the morning, and should be bringing it back next week for us to make it into a running, driving bus.

Make a classy polished collar to fit the engine lid latch. No respraying or finding a new decklid. It's a very correct build but it's not concourse...

Brings back memories, I remember as a kid climbing all over these busses at my grandfather's dealership in the 60's, we were in heaven when a walk through model came in spending hours in them .

I like your daily format of short videos. I enjoy seeing the progress. The Bus is beautiful. Great work. But the chrome on the bumpers and the air intakes is too much for me. You know the expression "Looks like it drove through a J.C. Whitney catalog and hit everything on the way out." To each his own.

Hahhahaha! Yeah, Wolfsburg went over the top on the Deluxe's on the trim, it's EVERYWHERE! But thats how they came, so we put them back that way. 👍
