What I love about Volk's training is that you can see it's hard work. I'm sure everyone works hard but I watch Ilia's training and he always looks good, he always looks like he's the best guy in the room. I watch Volk, and he's getting throw down, getting put in submissions in terrible positions by Craig Jones. It's epitomizes train hard so the fight is easy. And Still baby 🏆

Aldo was the best 145er for pretty much a decade prior to Max / Volk. There is no shame in him losing to two of the all time greats in their primes whilst he was on the decline. 3. A big reason Aldo moved down a division was because he was clearly undersized for featherweight. He was smaller than a lot of the bantamweights too
