Everything I have read the angel wing happens when the birds are younger and have too much protein or maybe bread or whatever. I love the longer video, but a real look at farm life is the best,knowing there has to be ups and downs,I’m impress that your downs don’t occur very often, you both seem to anticipate something before it happens . In my next life I’m coming back as a Cog Hill animal, cow or horse..I’m not picky.😉 I have to mention the most impressive, and that is the hard work you two,you not only make it seem easy(which I know it isn’t) but the sheer amount of work you guys did right when you moved in is astounding. The farm looks like it’s been there for years! I hope you take more family vacations,if an7y body has earned them it’s this family.

I just lost my husband, my best friend and my love, on 10-31-24. I cared for him for 9 years, by myself, while he deteriorated from dementia, neuropathy and a muscle disease that Doctors couldn’t figure out. It was a very tough time for him and me. I’m kind of numb and worn out. I’m thankful for Jason and Brook…they help keep me company, along with all their wonderful critters. God bless us all.

That has happened to me several times. It's so annoying. However, it has happened so often that I now know to check frequently and if there haven't been any notifivcations, I just type in Cog Hill Farm in the search box and look for myself. I have also set up a reminder alarm on my computer for 5 minutes before the Tuesday and Saturday lives because I never get the notifications on time. It's almost as though they do it on purpose. I thought it would improve once I became a Cog Hill Farm "member", but it didn't change a thing.

Will forever remember feeding and taking care of 40 horses & 45 dogs, 60 pigeons & 5 cats in thigh high snow at 46 below zero. Carried pick-ax to break through the ice in troughs, fed twice the amount of hay so their bodies could generate enough heat & had to drain all the water hoses completely so they could be used for next feed up. I can literally remember thinking, just one more step. Just take one more step and I'll be finished soon...all day long. Then got up and did it the next day again. No holidays, vacation or sick days when taking care of animals.☺️😁💗💗

During yesterday's LIVE Jason mentioned this would be a longer video. While it was definitely entertaining and informative it did not seem long to me. Seeing so many CHF babies was awesome! I enjoy any length video from the Smith family. I do admit some channels have videos that seem l-o-n-g - yet they are only :20. Obviously that is never an issue with Brooke or Jason. I dont know about everyone else, but raw videos are the best. I watch to see the real life of Cog Hill, not all the designed events. You are leading the life that I would love to lead, but my health means I couldnt do all the things that you do of a day. It gives me a little of what I would love to be doing. We have had storms and rain for the past few weeks and no chance of doing anything outside. My three little chickens even come in the apartment for most of the day because the weather is awful. I just about clean out their roost and that is it. We sit and watch the videos together of an evening and then they go to roost. It is perfect for us all. xxxx
