I have to say it’s a pretty bloody good place to live a healthy lifestyle and for a quarter of the price of oz. No complaints here 😅💜

Hey brother, awesome video My brother and I are planning to come to Thailand for training from NZ in August Would you recommend lamai? We're currently looking at it Any words of adice / experience
@hoodhippietravels4 ай бұрын
Hey brother! Thankyou I appreciate that. I would recommend Lamai for sure, amazing facility with world champions training there. And I prefer the real island lifestyle of Koh Samui compared to Phuket. Best place for a Muay Thai camp in Thailand in my opinion. And obviously live in Lamai while you’re here too, chewang is the party area. Hope this helps 😎👍🏼

I'm planning on doing a muay thai camp soon for 2/3 months, danm this looks tough - I currently do 3x hour boxing sessions a week, this will be a challenge.

@hoodhippietravels4 ай бұрын
Living a normal life, simple but nice accomodation, Muay Thai, food, scooter hire, 2x massage a week and a Little money for spending you are looking at around 700-1200 AUD a week for everything. 👍🏼
@oaomai4 ай бұрын
per week? that sounds like alot. did you mean per month? @@hoodhippietravels
@hoodhippietravels3 ай бұрын
per week, keep in mind this is high season. if you come in the low season months accommodation will be a lot cheaper, scooter higher a little cheaper. you could do it on a budget for around $500 AUD a week living very simple@@oaomai

hey bro how do your piercings hold up during sparring??
@hoodhippietravels4 ай бұрын
Hey bro, Piercings help up well during sparring but it is a risk. If I was staying longer than 1 month I’d take the bridge / nose piercing out.

Nice video mate! I was wondering if it is not bothersome that piercing on the top of the nose for sparring :)
@hoodhippietravels3 ай бұрын
Thankyou mate 👍🏼 I managed to be ok sparring for 4 weeks with it but obviously it only takes one punch to rip it so it is a risk. If I was staying longer for just muay Thai I would take it out 😎👍🏼
