This looks so much like my country, Bulgaria. Everything looks identical - the yard, the house, the food, the gathering at the table... If it wasn't for the language I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Maybe the only difference would be that here people drink rakia over vodka at least in family gatherings.

The mobile vendors back in the day in the USA were called "hucksters". My maternal grandma was from Ukraine so all the food is very familiar. Since my grandparents emigrated to Canada first around 1920 and my mother entered the US as an infant in 1923. Therefore I have no known family in the Ukraine and I consider you and yours my lost relatives.

There are still a lot of mobile grocers, butchers, bakers and fishmongers in the UK, a lifeline to rural communities, more so in this pandemic. Not all people are comfortable with online grocery shopping and many are outside of delivery areas or have a reliable, fast internet connection.

So nice to see family time. You eat like royals in a palace. I always like your barbecue chicken. Your lady is so happy to see the first snow fall! But, I enjoyed your swimming at the River last summer, even though mosquitos were present. The ladies are so simple and happy. They enjoy the simple things in life. Saint Nicholas Day, in a Catholic family, we have stockings hung around the fireplace. Inside each stocking, with a child’s name on it, there are many types of treats: dried nuts, the largest being Brazil nuts. Also: tangerines, candy, some German cookies and cakes. For the days before Christmas, we have an Advent Calendar on which we open a cardboard window each day and there is a nice picture inside.

Privyet Pavlo ! Happy Saint Nicholas Day and greetings from Malaysia ! A very informative and good KZbin channel you have. I've been alone to Ukraine (Kiev, Odessa and Dnipro) about four times now from 2010-2017 in winters and summer. Ukraine is wonderful country despite what some people might say on the Donbass conflict, etc. with such a nice and simple lifestyle especially in the villages. It is not glitzy condos or fancy nightclubs that makes life unique but family gatherings and feasting at celebrations. In Malaysia, we only have warm, summer weather all year with no seasons which can be at times boring. Ukraine's four seasons with real snow (not just sleet) is fantastic. I hope to make the next trip again in February 2022 to Kiev, Odessa and Dnipro but also to western Ukraine (Rivne, Lviv, etc.) , Nikolaev (south) and to Kharkov in the east. Merry Xmas, Happy New Year 2022 and happy holidays to Pavlo and all the viewers here !
