What are the statistics on how many animals are inhabiting each 1 acre parcel of forest that's logged? Because I'm pretty sure there's more than 1 animal per acre that live in the trees therefore how many animals are being displaced and forced to live in overcrowded areas where because of the overpopulation their food source would become limited and eventually they will have to travel farther distances to eat and to survive. In addition, traveling farther distances to find food creates longer periods of exposure, increasing the likelihood that they could be eaten by animals that prey on them for survival. Eventually altering the balance of natural selection.
