A Day of Film Photography in New York

Mobbed out to New York with the squad. Took the Pentax 67 and the Hasselblad 500 along for the ride. I wish I had more time out there to capture more, but I truly feel we got some solid photos out of the trip. I hope you all enjoy this one.

Dawg this video was inspirational, going to a different city and interacting with the native people and capturing them was beautiful from the bikers to the models. Getting to know everyone you shoot and were they come from and all the different stories is what makes shooting that much more enjoyable. Keep going brother you inspire me to shoot more frequently! Mike’s personality is awesome. I just want to say to anyone interested in photography your equipment doesn’t count! There are a lot of awesome photographers and they use all types of equipment. If you do not have an eye for it your equipment will not matter. Also don’t waste your money or time on expensive equipment if you are not getting paid! Bruh, you were in my hood, Harlem Stand Up! Seriously, NYC is infectious and if you can afford to live in LA you can afford to live in NYC. The vibes in NYC are DIFFERENT! I'm a street photographer and whenever I'm back in NYC, Harlem, BK and BX are the places I go to shoot. The people are REAL and if approached the right way they will help you shine in what you're doing. You need to go back right before Summer when it's just hot enough for shorts. You'll understand when you make it back. Also, hit me up, I've got a crew of film photographers in the city who will look out for you and make sure you're safe no matter where you go. Enjoy Thailand and eat well.
