A day of mayhem in Devon incl. triple 59s, thrashy 37s & Braunton covering for Britannia! (04/05/24)

Well, well, well!
9 hours, and a day I'm not forgetting anytime soon!
In this video, see all of my footage from Saturday 4th May- a day I'm not forgetting anytime soon!
The day was certainly exciting, beginning with Braunton on a slow pass through the platform, and a brilliant whistle, but also the 37s close behind, "taps wide open" through the platform after likely halting at the top of Hackney yard- these had the road through the platform, so the reason for this is unknown.
On top of this, see Freightliner's 59202, 59101 and 59104 on a quadruple header with 33012, forming the BLS's "May the Fourth be with you" tour- certainly exciting to see 3 59s together, working in multiple, on a quadruple header on tour, no less!
At Exeter Central, these 59s decoupled and formed back to Westbury- their origin for the day- and the tour was lead onward to Waterloo by 33012, trailed by 73136.
I must also thank the drivers of 33012 for letting me and my friends in the cab- much appreciated!

One thing I've noted when watching this back... The info for 0Z73 running through the platform runs off the screen- apologies! I only realised this post uploading!

Lovely video. All the locos looking beautiful as usual. Shame about the teenagers, I had some like that on the return journey at Salisbury

Cheers, Oscar. It was a real shame with teenagers being like that, but it's how kids act nowadays. It's bugging, but there we go. Managed to salvage the Braunton vid for the most part. Thanks again for your comment
