Julio still very-much looks like a young man - not just in the face but in the way his body is not quite filled out completely. It reminds me of what really early Lebron looked like. It’s not just the workout, it’s incorporating the strength and explosiveness into the swing… you can have all the muscle and explosiveness in the world and not be able to hit a home run because you don’t have the swing my g

Julio, you talked about last year standing up too tall and this year getting a tad lower and more into your legs. You also mentioned the rubber band effect. Watching your stance, with your hands in front and bat up as the pitcher is winding up, you then have to move your hands and elbow back. Why not start with your hands back, ready to snap. You can take away almost all of that movement, which eliminates the possibility for error in that step of your swing motion, by just eliminating that step and starting your stance with your hands back, elbow back. I’m just a fan with young kids, and trying to figure out swings. But from my perspective, it seems like you’re wasting movement up front! I think Teacherman would agree. Anyway, love you Julio. Probably not as much as my sister who sits behind the dugout all the time in Seattle. Lets get this thing rolling into August!

Just watched a montage from last year, and your stance has definitely changed. Your hands were higher and further back last year and the bat was tilted to about 2 oclock. This year it’s out in front of your body, straight up and down… you then move it during your stride/stretch, which honestly looks like unnecessary added movement. Get that bat up and back Julio!!!! Go watch some comparisons. Your timing was remarkable last year.

Like this kid honestly just like that baseball is fun again it is hard for the casual sports fan to understand cause every at bat is a duel most do t realize that players are that good that if you misfire it’s out of the park baseball is just not that obvious
