You talking about taking two classes of Greek reminded me that my Grandma knew Greek and would read the Bible in Greek. I didn't find that out till after she had died. Grandma wasn't just the best grandma, the keeper of the house, the best cook and cookie marker. Grandma was a Bible scholar. She went to Cleveland Bible College (which is now Malone University) back in the 1930s. Wish they had had KZbin back then it would have been so cool to see young grandma and grandpa attending college and getting to know each other and seeing their walk with the Lord. What a legacy Coffee and Bible Time is.

Oh my dear yes Bible college is just as hard as other college! I got my degree in child and family studies and my husband is currently pursuing his Masters in divinity and oh my he works SO SO SO HARD! It’s tons of papers! He has sub terms and to get his degree faster is taking like 8 classes a semester and wow just Lord bless him it’s intense, so I know exactly what you mean! God will definitely continue to help you both and bless you in the process too 💛🙏🏻

Not far to go - we're all so proud of both you and Taylor getting so insanely close to finishing that last credit hour. The whole KZbin audience is rooting for you both. One thing I urge you to do - back up your data!!! You and Taylor have several semesters of PDF files, documents, research bits, and who knows what else and you shouldn't delete any of that. Invest in some kind of storage and hold on to all that - it's surprisingly inexpensive when you catch a good sale at Staples. Audience advice you didn't ask for :) :) You and Taylor are both a great encouragement and your channels are awesome - do us all a favor and don't go anywhere!!! Whenever you set a date you know you've got to live stream the wedding. You should see if you can twist Johnny's arm into vlogging more too, we'd all like to get to know him a bit. Cheers!

Thank you so much for sharing. I am in almost exactly the same boat. Finishing my last year of college and being engaged. Thank you for sharing your conviction about what matters and after the wedding it starts and comes down on being rooted in christ, because that is what matters. Recognizable that you can get lost in the excitement and planning en organising the wedding, I have to remind myself of being thankful too, because it was a dream and then all of a sudden you’re living in the dream and it flies by so quickly! ❤️ Really enjoyed watching this vlog, so peaceful and inspiring!

Ashley, you can see how much you love God. On commentary, do it in Hebrew Translation. Interliner or blue letter. I promise you, your walk will be even richer. But be ready...you will have to relearn something's. And honestly, its crushing. But in a good way. I went on this journey for TRUTH. I wanted only exact translation. So I went to Hebrew and Greek. So many nuggets.

I'm also a slow reader. I read 20 pages an hour, once I timed myself. Textbooks are even worse. And it doesn't help that my eyesight is getting much, much worse. I'm 42 and farsighted with astigmatism. I have to read on an e-reader so the font can be big. I went to Barnes and Noble, to get a Super Giant Print NIV Bible. I went to the store to see if I could actually read it. I can. I have not so bad comprehension. Sometimes critical thinking is hard though.

It's like weren't they supposed to teach critical thinking in high school? I learned a lot from Nicki Drake. I think she uses the Berean method. She has her line of Berean Bibles by Interleave Journaling Bibles. She only has a few books out. We're doing Revelations right now. But it's huge, and a huge sheet on the right to take notes, lots of notes.
