Skiing in the Hakuba area is so easy. I was there in March 2023 & 2024. It’s only 3 hours from Tokyo. 1.5 hours on the Shinkansen to Nagano station…. 20-30 minutes wait at Nagano station bus-stop for a snow bus…. and a scenic 1 hour bus ride to Hakuba central - the Tourist Info Centre). Try to get accommodation near the gondola “ADAM” for a quick trip to the upper half of the mountain when you ski.

Exactly as you said. The place you went to is probably Hakuba Happo-one Snow Resort. I think it's the most famous ski resort in Hakuba.

where u get the ski from ? u rent it ? howmuch ?
@planethouki12 күн бұрын
I own these skis; they are not rented. If you want to rent skis, you can do so at Escal Plaza. The rental fee for skis, poles, and boots is 5,800 Japanese yen. You can find more details on this website: www.hakubaescal.com/winter-en/rental/

Sorry for the late reply. It might be too late, but here’s the information: There’s no entry ticket. It’s free. The lift ticket is 7,000 yen, the snowboard and boots are 5,800 yen, and the wear is 4,300 yen, bringing the total to 17,100 yen. On top of that, you’ll need to factor in transportation costs. A round trip by bus from Nagano Station costs 7,000 yen.
