Very interesting! How does the scallop machine work? Does it remove the shell? What does the scallop look like, that you keep, when it comes out of the machine?

The machine just sorts out undersize ones and gives shells bit of a clean , the sized ones are then put into 30kg bags and sent to a shelling factory ready for sale

@@Threelegsfishing Ahh, I see. That makes sense. I still enjoy all the part of the video where you guys open the net and everything spills out on to the deck. It's always interesting to see all the things that can be dredged up.
