You know, there might be a way to hit both the vintage skis and stand-ups with one stone. Back in 2005-'07, Sea-Doo made a stand-up called the 3D. It was the last 2-stroke they made, it's wider and more stable than most other stand-ups, and it has a weird quirk - there's a fold-out seat under the bars that can be configured 5 different ways, depending on how you want to ride. They weren't super popular, but they have a bit of a cult following, and a lot of people say they're more fun than a Spark. Might be worth a look to see if anyone nearby is selling one.
