Thank you for showing the scales of the trains at the show. American flyer and 3-rail O gauge identify themselves, but I like to know the others, also. And you may not be a kid anymore (although you do play with trains), but you still are having birthdays. One way you could minimize the size difference of the new boxcars, is to run them separated from Flyer box cars. Mixed in with other types of cars, most people wouldn't notice the size difference.

Thank you Mark for the comments. I posted a note of the scale being viewed with each new scale segment video clip. I was hoping grouping the scales together would be helpful. The labels are near the beginning of each clip.

K-Line cars look good behind the 4014 Big Boy. I've had 50 car trains on a 17 by 9 layout.

I've been told by people who have the lionel S gauge BigBoy that is a bit over scale so I can see how the cars would fit perfectly.

Neat to see all the scales at the train show. Very rarely do I ever see most all the scales present at shows near me, and the live steam G scale was also a rare sight. Now 2 rail O scale I'm strangely attracted to. Bigger than S, yes, but still scale proportions. I also did not know Kline made S scale cars. I have some Marx 3/16 tinplate cars and they are basically the same size as Flyer cars. K line must have used their standard 027 shells.

After watching the video today I was also amazed at how many scales were represented. Very diverse train show...except for an S layout. When I did an interview with Dave Hess in 2021 he showed me Marx cars and talked about people converting them. Fascinating. And I understand your attraction to 2 rail O scale. I've often enjoyed layouts of this size because of the level of detail that can be achieved.

K Line's S gauge line was made from the Marx plastic car molds which were not true 3/16 scale but close, with S gauge trucks. I bought one of their S gauge bay window cabooses and was so disappointed I sold it immediately for less than I paid for it ha ha.

I have an off subject question about the Cow on The Track. What is the best way to set it up with my S-Helper sectional track.

@@AustinsAmericanFlyertrains That is the track I have ,plus I have the flex track that I could use if needed. That might be a little easier. I can ask my club ( Lone Star Flyer ) . What I can do is ask what they think. I just need to find 2 track sensors.

AF made 40 foot box cars. the Kline are 50’ box cars. There are also 60 ‘ box cars etc. On a real train, not all box cars are the same exact size. Stop being so dang picky Austin Lol! Their toys! Play with them and be happy!
