90% of ADTR fanbase nowadays is grown up people who grew up listening to ADTR's heaviest songs and used to go every single concert they made in our cities. And now we're here with our jobs, houses, some even have kids... and still rocking with ADTR!!

It’s crazy to think when I was a kid I would sit in my room at my parents house listening to you guys for hours, helping me through what I thought were problems at the time. Now 10 or more years later this song comes through on my recommended videos, on one of the crappiest days I’ve had in a long time. I was ready to throw in the towel on my small business I’ve worked so hard to make. Being a father, having a family and a home, being a business owner. It all just takes a toll on me and today was that kind of day it was almost too much. Who knows if you guys will ever see this but I just wanted to say thank you. My music tastes and genres have changed a little over the years, but it seems like you guys always have something that fits me when the time is right.

Still getting me through the good and bad days 15+ years later. You guys bring me back to high school summers running around with friends, first loves, bad breakups, care free adventures and crying in my room. Now I’m 30, a mom with two girls, a whole ass job, house and life. Now I listen while taking my kids to school, painting in the studio, cleaning and going on solo drives. Thanks for being such a wonderful part of my life. The nostalgia is great but I’m happy I get to still listen and bring in new memories with all your music!

Been a adtr fan since 2009. This song hits different being older and being a father now. Oct 5 22 my wife and i had our lives turned upside down. A City trash truck ran through our house and destroyed everything in its path. That night rummaging through what was left. My 4 yr old asked his mommy and I. To play his song. This song. And we listened and sang together. And it was so true. We have each other. Everything else can be replaced. We have everything we need. Adtr thanks for all the meaningful yet head banging music!

Look, no ones going to tell you what you should and shouldn’t like, but there are people who are understandably frustrated over this album. It’s a totally far cry from their past work and understandingly feels like it’s catering to another audience. Tbh, I like maybe 3 songs from this record and I wouldn’t even put them in my top 20 ADTR songs. If you like it that’s fine, but not everyone has to.

Lived for 11 years in North Florida while most of my family and friends still lived in South Florida. I made that drive down the 75 S/ turnpike so many times, I'd recognize it anywhere. That "doing buck 20 on I-75 just to see if I'm dead or alive" hits so different. My 20's in a nutshell. Living through some of the hardest times and racing home to see my mom and dad just to feel some semblance of comfort, being so happy to see them but feeling like my childhood home was never the same after I left, then being crushed when my parents sold it. Driving around my old town. It's like ADTR ripped this straight out of my life. It's hard to describe the emotions I get from listening to this; nostaglia, happiness, sadness, all mixed together.

Yup and another band I used to like did this too. Their last album failed completely because they sold an album that didn't represent the band or what the fans wanted. They sold out. It failed. And the lead singer is now dead. If you figured it out. I was referencing Linkin park. If you want to change the sound and the feel of a band this much. Just stsrt a new one. Using the fan base you made to sell this junk. Is how you kill your band. Fans have resentment

Your music has come full circle with this song for me and my fiancé. We met on MySpace in 2002 when I was 19 and he was 23. He was in Seattle, I was in Tulsa but he had roots in Oklahoma. We talked on and off through the years but always had a deep connection. No matter how long it had been between conversations, we picked up right where we left off but we could just never seem to get the timing right. When it was released in 2009, we knew our song was 'If It Means A Lot To You'. The lyrics seemed to fit our situation perfectly and it gave us hope that one day, everything would work itself out and we would be together. 18 years later and one VERY LONG road trip from Seattle to Tulsa in a UHaul, we are finally together and we couldn't be happier. 'Everything We Need' really hits home and makes me feel so thankful that neither of us ever gave up on each other. At 36 and 40, we have each other. And that is definitely everything we need. Thank you for being a special part of us.

The crazy thing is I feel like the music has grown with me and this album’s been no different in that aspect. This song in particular though... man. As someone who works out of town this one and the video hits really close to home. I have put in a ton of work.. always thought I would end up alone.. lo & behold almost a month ago now I ended up reconnecting with an old flame of mine from middle/high school. We dated for about 3 weeks LOL. Then we went out separate ways & i never pursued it again.. had feelings for her all throughout high school. Just never said anything. I always thought she was “too good” for me. Or whatever it is you tell yourself when your scared. But she DID feel the same. & we have hit it off. I’m fucking thankful for everything I have gone through to lead up to this moment. It has all been worth it. & I will keep trying my best to ensure I can be there for her & her little daughter. This is just beautiful. It's perfection and simplicity. It's completion. Isn't that what we've all desired after all these years? This song is the words I feel my hubby always wants to say but he's a southern quiet type. The end of this song feels like home. Myself, my son, hubby, and our little daughter. Home. Family. Completion. We've got everything we need. Thanks for all the years and all the feels ADTR! Forever a huge fan.

FIrst KZbin comment ever. I'm a 50 year old grandfather of two. I found ADTR through my daughter, who knows how much I love punk and punk-adjacent music. Love every ADTR song I've ever heard. Everybody grows up. Even bands. So do it better than others so far ADTR is doing getting it right. Family is everything we need.

I never have listened and followed them from the beginning. However I found them out when they were rising back in 2014 as I started my Uni life. Their songs bring back those memories as I am now living my day to day work life. Still listen their songs from time to time to keep myself motivated. Also just by looking at them growing up and starting a family just gives me the inspiration to set a goal for myself and a future family.

my sister used to listen ADTR when i was like 11, since then i started to listen this band idk how haha, now im 20, and they come to lollapalooza in Chile, i didn't waste the opportunity to go, i was in the front row, i sang and scream with all my might, now i'm here watching videos because i can't get over them, and crying because most of you in the comments are 30years old and everyone in adtr has a family, time goes so fucking fast. Thanks adtr for saving me from so many falls.

I remember listening to homesick when it came out when I was 12. Now I have my first son and I find myself singing him a day to remember songs and he falls right asleep. He really loves the "you had me at hello" song. I'm so thankful to grow up with this band and now when my son is older I'll tell him about this old band I listened to when I was his age. I truly love this band.

Jeremy, I take that 75 drive every time I go home to Bradenton. Nearly busting my speedometer just trying to get back to a place I feel safe and welcome. And I’ve sang City of Ocala while driving through Ocala more times than I can count. You guys have a song, an album really, for everything. I know the Facebook post said ask questions, but I just wanted to thank you all for always being so great and I can’t wait to see the next time you’re in Atlanta. Degenerates tour was amazing 🤘🏻

I was just 16 when I discovered ADTR, going through all the hormone-fueled emotional strife that teenagers go through. I'm 27 now(still single 😄) and still as hooked on this band as I was 11 years ago. Just saw them live for my fifth time this year. Wherever life takes me, their music is always there to remind me that there are things in life worth fighting for.

My bothers band played “Monument” in one of their first concerts and that was the first time I heard of ADTR. I quickly bought an album and not realizing I had just found one of my top 3 favorite bands. I’ve gone out and bought a CD copy of every album and would rock out in my truck as a sanctuary to my inner self. Their music got me through times with friends, depressions, anger/frustration, heartbreaks, loneliness, and some times just to pass the time. People will hate this album, but the real fans that grew up along with the band will be thankful. Perfect name for this album and keep playing ADTR.

The past several months, I've been going through an extremely difficult time in my life after discovering I had a brain tumour and have had three life saving operations recently. I am still in hospital recovering and thankfully have been given the all clear now by the doctors. I am due to be married next month which I still don't know for sure if I'll be able to make but I have put this song down as one of our wedding songs as its such a beautiful song. I just wanted to share this message and want to give others hope in their life if they are going through a difficult time at the moment. If this is you and you are reading this then hang in there as best you can and fight through whatever challenges you are facing! Of course, a massive thanks to ADTR for being such an awesome band that consistently produce amazing songs, you have helped out so many people so keep the good work going ❤❤

As someone from Georgia, this song just fucking hits because I-75 holds so many damn memories. From the random road trip just to cross the Tennessee border with my best friend, to the many many trips to visit my husband to get to North Carolina, to just cruising around to clear my head. And that ending ❤️

I had bad thoughts with fear and I didn't want to be thinking too much and at the time I thought "I need to listen to music" and when I came to listen to Day to Remember I didn't know they had released a new song.
