A day trip to Moominworld | vilmabrownie

Since traveling abroad is not really an option right now... I've decided to see more of my home country! On Thursday Amanda and I traveled to MOOMINWORLD which I had not been to in ages. This is what that was like!

❧ I JUST WANNA SAY that the Covid-19 situation in Finland is very different to a lot of countries which makes traveling and visiting places possible here. I do say that Amanda and I should've been more responsible and wear masks but we made a mistake and forgot our masks at home. We both highly recommend wearing a mask in crowded public places (especially indoors) and after our day trip we both have corrected ourselves and wear masks as often as possible and needed. Stay safe!

Finnish is very difficult language to learn but fear not, all the characters also speak english and most of them swedish. When I went there couple of years ago, I heard Snufkin speaking to few guests in spanish too. In finland people speak english pretty well in general so you should be fine 👍

Oh what a cute white hippo mascot Moomin in Finland. I was aware of the character because the theme was converted into a Japanese anime name Adventures from Moominvalley. Love it. From the Philippines. None of us were aware of it.

haha, thank you! i am fully finnish but when i started learning english in school i started to use it a lot (listening, speaking and writing) in my free time. then through online communities i got friends who i had use english with and then started making videos in english so i could keep speaking it to improve it. :)
