Thank you for the lovely view of the Elk. 8 cows and 5 calves, it seems. It certainly was special seeing them for this prolonged view. Of course, when traveling through northern Arizona, we see them only briefly and from afar. This was very nice. Thank you for sharing it with us. :)

Are there bears in Pine AZ?

Yes, I believe so.

There are black bears in the general area but they are pretty elusive. I've only seen 2 in my life and I'm born and raised in Pine. They've become more common in recent years but they aren't really a concern.
