I've seen this video a few times in the past month. The first part of it was gut wrenching sad. It reminds me of the all the times I've tried to have parties, and all the times I've been ignored, and made fun of. The first part of this video hurts like hell to watch. Then Francis gets home to a surprise party. They are there to give respect to this guy. To see him happy gives me some hope. However at the same time I'm angry. Because I've had so few times where I've been given such gifts. Only twice in my life can I remember where something good like this has happened for me. Once as a teen I had people set up a birthday party for me. It was amazing until my brother started getting the attention because he shaved his head that day and people were more focused on that than me. On my freagin birthday at a party set up for it ruined. I tried not show how angry I was. But some knew and sadly my brother didn't know because I just couldn't say anything. I didn't want to the one who started that fight. So one moment in life that could have been so special taken out by a clueless brother. The only other time I was truly gifted with a great day like that was my the day I married my beautiful wife. It seemed like so many things were trying to screw that up too. But I was NOT going let anything mess that up either one of us. We prepared so long for and worked hard for that moment. And despite many thing that did go wrong, like having two thirds of the people I invited not even bother to show up, and having my wife be injured a week before and so many other things,,,,,, Even after all that crap, it was still the greatest day of my life because I had many friends and family who did come and my wife was so beautiful. That was the first greatest day ever. An extremely close second best day ever was the day my daughter came into this world. I guess after all this blubbering what I mean in this video is a very emotional powerful video. Francis, Boogie, If you ever see this I want you to know I feel much of the same pain you have felt, and some of the same joy too.

I think the reason why we love him so much, is because we see ourselves in him. Never really had a birthday. But I could always count on my guild members or online friends to throw a party or just do raids all day. Some of my best memories are with people I’ve never met face to face. Better family than I was born with. It may sound sad, but I’m grateful for those I’ve met and the people I know because of games.
