Since Jet got sick from eating a bad carcass, maybe one of the pups’ life time quest could be to never eat a found carcass or go to a carcass twice or bring baby animals back

Thats smart! When my pup, adonis got sick I also said it was from a bad carcass that his father, aztec brought back since it was after eating a bison carcass we found, maybe that will be his life time quest, I guess no bisons!

Actually, what happens after you lose a mate is that you can either find another without courtship needed, or you could raise the pups by yourself!

Poor Bee, she just can't catch a break even on a lucky day. I know what it's like to have a mate like Cliff; my wolf's mate Meadow tends to jump into fights without hesitation, and she ends up taking all the damage. Luckily she's smart enough to know when to back down, but it's still an epic fight to watch.

I wish my mate was like that.I just finished my 7th generation and I picked my pup Winter for the next generation heir.I picked him cause as a pup he was stubborn and last in the den but a loner and he would sometimes stay outside when there was danger.I honestly don’t know how he survived but anyway his mate Summer is kind shy and lazy and she is like “A fight!!!Nope I’ll stay by the den good luck Winter!” even when hunting and we get attacked for food she just backs away and I have to fight.

@@wintermoon1393 Oof, good luck! Lazy mates are awful to deal with, especially when it comes to defending the den. It's worse when they get hungry and you're out hunting young fawns or calves, because they'll sometimes kill the babies and eat the entire carcass. I had a mate do that once and it annoyed me enough to end their life XD

I think I'm on generation 8 on the fire and ashes pack . BUT EVERY mate in the fire and ashes pack when the wolf I'm playing as is gone the mate let's the pups out of the den I do trust the mates enough that none of the pups will die when the wolf I'm playing as is gone at least. So far I'm following flower and her mate crow and there pups i forgot why I chose flower as hier though😶.

I gasped so hard when I saw Cliff's healthbar go down during that bear fight. I just- My wolf Goldfinch had a mate named Odell, and he died protecting his pups from a bear. I got so scared when I saw that Cliff was about to die
