A Death Knight HERO POWER OTK??? Is That Even POSSIBLE?

The goal of this Wild Hearthstone March of the Lich King Questline Hunter OTK combo deck is to use Mukla's Champion combined with Defend the Dwarven District! We do this by playing Sir Finley Mrrgglton to obtain the Death Knight Hero Power! Then, we play Mukla's Champion, a variety of inexpensive spells, and use our Hero Power for the OTK! When I first saw the DK hero power, my first thought was that they’ll have some way to use it as a finisher with buffs or something. This was not what I imagined, but I’m glad it exists!

That doesn't seem like a coincidence to me. DK is intentionally light on buffs and other charge synergies *because* they have charge minions on demand, no?

@@BradGreer i cant think of one single charge minion death knights have. the 1/1 that dies at end of turn hero power isnt a minion, its a hero power and thus doesnt interact with hardly anything. i think only grave and antimagic shield which isnt enough to get an otk. we do have rush minions tho but that is also not an otk

@Kugrox I feel like you're aggressively trying to miss the point, but in case it's an honest misunderstanding, the hero power generates a minion with charge. Because of this, the design space for buffing minions is intentionally limited, because they probably don't want every win condition to be an uninteractive charge OTK. The thread is about how it's easier to get an OTK with a different class using DK's hero power. I said it seems intentional that OTK support for a charge-based hero power is limited.

I have an idea: Use death knight and brewmaster to get the charge ghoul to your hand, then buff the ghoul with handbuff cards in blood rune and copy it etc. to win.

Probably easier to use Banker to put Ghoul into deck and then use Lor'themar Theron + Brann + Zola + Brewmasters to buff it up as I'm not sure how plausible it would be to handbuff to 30+ attack (Especially with the RNG on Bloodworm)

otk idea: use Sir Finley Mrgglton in Druid to get the death knight hero power, then over 7 turns add six of them to your graveyard. On the combo turn, play unending swarm to revive them all and a few druid buff cards to make them deadly. Might have to use ancient brewmaster to return finley to your hand in order to get 7 ghouls instead of 6.

12:45 hunter has hero power that deals 1 and 4 1-attack minions. Mage: better use card that only makes me take 1 damage from each hit!

I think you might be able to pull off some similar nonsense by using Sir Finley in mage to the get the Hunter hero power, then use Reckless Apprentice.
