Maazi, a religious person has a preconceived idea and answers, they have no logical explanation. Argui5with a religious person will always have one end, because they are not open to new ideas. They analyse things according to what they believe is the truth. How do you argue with somebody who actually believes that bible is the word of God, irrespective on the contradictions. I have stopped having religious debate with anybody, because it drains my energy afterwards. Thanks anyway , it was an interesting episode. I like the level of respect and cordially approach.

You listened amiss. Asides from the scriptures, the only reference the Rev. Father gave was the Greek bible he was ready to read from before the Moderator intercepted because of time. This does not translate to winning the argument. Mazi on the other hand gave clear explanations to his own submissions. Your comment can only be valid if you’ve gone ahead to verify Mazi’s submissions and seen them to be incorrect. Mazi also gave thought provoking analogies. The question on apostle Peter going to Rome really got me thinking.

Let me start my response by saying I'm a Catholic and this remains till this minute. First, Fr Joe was not debating but gave a platform for Maazi Dibia to inform (teach/ talk about) his perception/ ideology. So there is nothing like Fr Joe lost or Maazi Dibia won. Second, Fr Stanley well exposed and read came for a debate and participated like one in a debate. Third, your point on Fr Stanley winning can be said to be bias because the only sources given were still related to the Bible, for which it is widely and generally accepted that the Bible though a collection of books cannot serve as a historic pointer of facts. Like I do tell people, based on the denomination of the religion we choose to follow, we believe our ways are best. If you are Muslim you'd say both are not saying the correct thing. Just like every Christian would, you can choose to say that Fr Stanley won but as a scholar who needs more than belief, will you say he did? Let me point you to just one aspect from the debate, *"if Adam and Eve were the first humans, how is it that a pyramid in Egypt was built years before they existed?"* Remember that the Bible in itself said that the earth was filled with darkness and void right? Again, Cain's wife till today is still being argued as his sister or niece. So referencing the Bible in a debate as this limits
