A DECADE OF RURAL ELECTRIFICATION IN ZAMBIA

Zambia has made significant in the Rural Electrification process which has drawn support from various countries. Its close to 10 years since the process begun and a number of rural facilities and households have benefited from the poject. In this documentary, Pennipher showcases works in Situmbeko area west of Lusaka as well as other initiatives around the country that have left a positive impression on beneficiaries.
This documentary which aired on ZNBC TV1 in December 2017 was awarded Best TV Documentary at the 2017 Rural Electrification Authority (REA) Media Awards. Pennipher was also recognised as the Best Journalist at the same ceremony held in February 2017.
