I’m 57, retired military, and I spent most of my life with affordable G-shocks for work. I have always admired mechanical watches and horology in general but I figured I’d never have the means for a really good mechanical watch. (and not really knowing enough to “choose a good one”.) I discovered your channel a few months back and have been “devouring” (nod to Hugo) the past ten years worth of knowledge and experience that you have been sharing on your channel. I recently bought my first automatic watch (a modest Hamilton Murph 38mm) and now I have my sights set on soooo many different and amazing pieces. I’m living proof that you’re never too old to learn and to pursue those things in life that bring you joy. Thank you, TGV. How fortunate are we that you saw fit to share your passion with the rest of us? We can’t wait to see what comes next! Onwards and upwards.

Your informative videos reached millions of people and you showed brands that the world didn’t even know exist. All that while being yourself. I thank you, because if it wasn’t for you I don’t think I would know half of the things I do now. Although this is my first comment , I have been here since the days you used to make coffee on the moka pot and the tissot was always on the intro. You know which one 😉. Your videos helped me at tough times when I couldn’t relax. One video of yours was enough to calm down and enjoy my time. From the bottom of my heart , thank you and I truly hope you never stop making videos.

To another 10 years. Your channel taught me so much about watches. A pleasure to watch. Looking forward to the future.

Thanks TGV for the 10 years you have already given to us. I’m still working backwards through all your work. Looking forward to the new era of the Gentry! Good luck with your move and safe travels. I’m looking forward to more of your inspiring chat, into both life and the watches you share with us all. Cheers Jamie

Please don't scare us like that. I almost had a panic attack. Top quality as always. You are an inspiration. Keep doing what you do best. Thanks, John...
